Custom Fine Gauge Loom Requests

Due to the many requests for various looms to be adapted to fine gauge, we are currently not accepting any custom orders for fine gauge looms. We will be releasing more fine gauge looms through out 2016.  We will be using our facebook page and  I Love CinDWood Looms facebook group to poll our customers about what looms would be most popular in these new gauges and in what order we should release them. We will be releasing 1 new fine gauge at a time through out the next year. We will keep customers posted via facebook, newsletter, our blog and website about what is coming.  We will be offering pre-orders on the next available loom. More information will be available in the November Newsletter.

During the next week we will be adding pink loom option to the website under each loom. These have to be added individually. But they will be marked OUT OF STOCK until October 1,2015 when we officially begin selling pink looms and start our fundraiser. Spread the word and share this video about the October pink peg fundraiser

Shipping Schedule

As you know we are a small family run home business.  We do not work on the weekend because we focus on our families during that time.  We currently ship orders out orders on MWF.  M-F we have people filling the looms for orders made.  Since adding so many colors and variety’s we  don’t always have the exact color and shape of a current order on the shelf ready to be sent.  So we have to fill them after the order comes in. Because of the current occasional issue of pegs popping out, we have decided to let looms that had to have pegs glued in that day, sit over night to completely dry and then package them to see if that would help solve that issue.  Because of this, if you order your loom on  the weekend and it is not one that is already filled on the shelf. It will get pulled on Monday and filled, dry on Tuesday, and be shipped on Wednesday. That still stays within our current shipping policy which is 3-4 business days.   Priority mail will take 2-3 business days from the day we ship to arrive within the U.S. and you should receive a tracking notice that your items have been shipped.  We hope this clarifies any question on our shipping schedule.  If you have any other questions about this. Please contact us personally at:

Thank you for being wonderful customers!!

Popping Pegs

I would like to discuss in this post the glue we use and why. For 12 years Cindy has been using Titebond Premium Wood Glue to glue the pegs into the looms.  We try to have enough glue to seal around the peg but not too much so it looks globby.  We dip each peg in glue and then hammer it into the hole.  We can not use gorilla glue, or super glue due to the fact Cindy has severe asthma and is allergic to these glues.  Though wood glue does not melt the plastic the way the other glues do to make them adhere, we have always had success using the wood glue.  With regular use the pegs should stay in place for a good long time, but if your loom gets dropped, wet, superhot, etc.. the bond may break between the glue and the peg and it could come out.  Also if you wiggle the pegs back and forth you will indeed break the bond and they will eventually come out.

You can easily fix your loom by applying another drop of wood glue, super glue, gorilla glue, or e6000 craft glue and then letting it dry for 24-48 hours.  We try to make a very high quality product. Each peg is hand glued…(NOT BY MACHINE) so at times there may be a few pegs that did not get quite enough glue.  So if a peg pops out feel free to re-glue it with whichever glue you prefer and then keep looming.  We do not profess to have an indestructible product, but we are working hard to try and have them be very sturdy and usable.

We have some customers that prefer to have their looms sent without the pegs glued in so that when they arrive with the empty looms and different color pegs in baggies they can put them in certain peg designs for patterns and either glue them in themselves (with their preference of glue), or just keep them loose so they can change the peg patterns when they want.  If anyone one would prefer their looms sent this way you may request by email or in the notes section of your order.

If at any time you have a concern about your loom, please contact us by phone or email and we would be happy to assist you.

Picks Update

As of September 1, 2015 we will be shipping picks per order not per loom as follows:

Orders with 1-3 looms = 1 pick

Orders with 4-7 looms = 2 picks

Orders with 8+ looms = 3 picks.

As some of you have noticed our picks have varied quite a bit this year. Our custom order came in and it was not at all like the approved sample they had sent us. These were the blunted end picks that were difficult for people to use.  During the last month we have been using super sharp picks from a few years ago, but they are not uniform and we can not still get them from that company.  So  we have been trying to fix the blunted picks, but the time and tools it takes to do so is quite cumbersome.  So we have found a way to make the blunted ones more tapered and sharp but because of the extra time it takes to fix them we are not able to keep up with sending one per loom.

It will take at least 6 months for us to go through this shipment and to try and work on getting a new one (hopefully better quality and as we have requested)

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

USPS Shipping Changes

It appears that USPS has closed some of their sorting stations, and some of our orders are arriving slower than usual.  When you receive the email from us that they have shipped. They have gone out that day.  We can not guarantee when USPS will deliver them from that point, but we will continue to try and ship them within 2 business days of when they are ordered. (Custom Order or colored peg items may have an extra day delay)

Thank you,

Cindy Clyde

Welcome to our New Website

We are so excited to introduce our new website  We now have e:patterns and ebooks available as wells as coupon codes. Watch the newsletter for those each month.  We are introducing new 5/8″ combo’s this month as well as GREEN colored pegs.  You will notice that shipping charges have changed. We have a new plugin we purchased from USPS to calculate exact shipping to your zip code or country. If you live on the East Coast this may be higher than you have paid in the past. For 12 years Cindy has lost money on her large orders shipping to the East Coast. We are a small company and only charge what USPS  is charging us plus a small $2 handling fee (which does not even cover the box and supplies used to ship) We hope that our quality and customer service will help our East Coast Customers continue to purchase from us.  We are so excited for the new site and the great options available. Please contact us with any  questions or concerns at [email protected]
