Loom:
Any peg combination with a multiple of 4 may be used. 5/8 inch gauge loom with pegs in multiples of 4. Sample made on the
CinDwood Crafts 100 peg afghan loom. A 120 peg ½ inch gauge loom may be substituted, as well as a 60 peg ¾ inch gauge loom. Worked in the round. Smaller sizes may also be made - this pattern will adapt very easily.
Yarn: bulky weight wool yarn, divided in two colors. C1 = 150 yards, darker color C2 = 130 yards, lighter color Sample made with Beaverslide Dry Goods Fisherman’s Weight 3 Ply in Rosehips and Knit Picks Swish Bulky in Bare.
Note: if substituting a ½ inch gauge loom aran weight yarn should be used; if substituting a ¾ inch gauge loom, super bulky weight yarn should be used.
